As Director, and on behalf of everyone at Mother’s Day Out, I would like to welcome you and your little one. This program is meant to provide parental support by allowing parents to meet family and personal needs. With the understanding that children are the most precious gift from God, it is our goal to provide a Christian atmosphere in which they will thrive and have fun. We also create a learning environment by using the A Beka curriculum, which is the same curriculum used by LafayetteChristianAcademy.  There will be learning activity sheets provided everyday along with circle time that can include flashcards or story time. Since this is an important age for motor skills development, coloring time and finger songs will be incorporated as well. Mother’s Day Out is the perfect introduction to kindergarten. This program will help your child to adjust to a classroom setting, develop social skills, and will be even more prepared for “big school” by knowing their colors, shapes, numbers and letters.
